About Revanesse Versa
Revanesse Versa is a hyaluronic acid dermal filler that can be used to add volume to areas of the face. Using only premium quality hyaluronic acid, Versa can reduce the appearance of wrinkles, including nasolabial folds. Versa is FDA approved for the correction of both facial wrinkles and creases and uses a spherical particle shape to allow for longer-lasting results with slower breakdown times. "I recently visited for fillers on my cheekbone and jawline (Radiesse Plus), as well as some wrinkle relaxer (Xeomin). The process took a little longer than I had expected but the injector was well versed in her practice and very gentle with me. I am very happy with the results. There was a little bruising which is normal with deeper fillers, but from day 1 it was a great improvement. Never thought that just a couple syringes (ok ok like 4 Radiesse, 1 Xeomin) could make such a difference in how I see myself and how others do as well. Highly recommend."- M.J. / Google / Jun 22, 2019

Ideal candidates for Versa injection treatments are men and women who are wanting to restore volume to areas of the face. Versa is especially beneficial at decreasing the appearance of nasolabial folds, also known as smile lines or laugh lines. Candidates for Versa should not be pregnant or breastfeeding, have scars at the intended injection site, be allergic to hyaluronic acid products, or have a history of hypertrophic scarring or keloid formation. During your consultation, one of our experienced injectors will be able to assess whether or not you are a good candidate for Versa injections.
Prior to your treatment session, Dr. Z will meet with you to understand your desired aesthetic goals. Dr. Z or a member of our team will be able to answer any questions you may have about the treatment process before it begins. Once a treatment plan is discussed and created, you will be encouraged to relax while the treatment area is prepped. Typically, it is not needed, but a local anesthetic may be applied prior to the injections. Each of our injectors is specially trained to ensure your safety and to provide successful outcomes. The entire injection process is relatively quick, lasting about 15 – 20 minutes.
What to Expect
Following the treatment, a member of our team will provide you with at-home care instructions to ensure proper healing. You may experience some slight bruising and swelling that can be remedied with a cold compress or ice. For any pain, over-the-counter medications, such as Tylenol, can be taken. Side effects typically subside within a week or so, depending on the area of injection. Most often, patients see results within hours of their treatment. Results can last up to six months before another treatment is needed; however, this may vary from patient to patient. Although it is a rare occurrence, if you experience any long-lasting or abnormal side effects, you should contact our office immediately.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does it cost?
The cost of Versa will depend on the number of syringes that are needed to address your unique cosmetic concerns. During your initial consultation, Dr. Z will assess your profile and make a recommendation on how much Versa you may need. From there, he will be able to discuss your estimated costs.
BOTOX or Versa?
Although BOTOX and Versa are both injectable dermal treatments, they are different. BOTOX is a wrinkle relaxer that temporarily freezes the underlying facial muscles for a youthful contour. Versa is a hyaluronic acid filler that adds volume or fills creases and wrinkles for a smoother complexion. During your first visit, Dr. Z can discuss the benefits of both and help you decide which option is best for you.
Is it safe?
Yes. As an FDA-approved treatment, Versa is both safe and effective for treating facial wrinkles and folds. It has also been on the market for over 15 years and is used worldwide. Men and women love the benefits of Versa as it offers a nonsurgical solution to correcting unsightly wrinkles and nasolabial folds.
With any injectable dermal treatment, there are risks of allergic reactions, which is why it's important for you to discuss any allergies and your general medical history with Dr. Z during your initial consultation. The most common side effects are redness, swelling, bruising, and bleeding at the injection site. These symptoms are temporary and usually dissipate in the days that follow. If you have any long-lasting reactions, call our office.
